None of our switchgear systems come off the shelf. We offer our customers tailor-made solutions – engineered by people with technical expertise and a genuine passion for precision, delivering quality at the highest level.

Since the foundation of our company, this philosophy has guided everything we do.

We are proud to be a strong, mid-sized company with a perfectly coordinated team.

With around 75 employees – all of whom speak your language – we are fast, flexible, and extremely reliable in implementing bespoke switchgear systems tailored to your specific requirements. The more complex the challenge, the better.

We see ourselves as a highly specialised technology manufacturer driven by innovation. Nothing here runs on an assembly line: every KAUTZ system is built by small teams of three to five people. Each team is fully responsible for their project and highly motivated – every project is their project, and every movement counts. Only when they are completely satisfied with their work does the system move to final testing.
For our switchgear systems, we use only components from renowned manufacturers. This guarantees absolute premium quality and, of course, Made in Germany.

When our customers start planning new projects, they often involve us right from the beginning: “Hey Günter, we’ve got something in the works – we need power. How should we approach it? Is it feasible? Do you see any challenges? How would you solve it?” That’s how many of our conversations begin.

And this is exactly where our strength lies: we listen. We think along with our customers and deliver solutions. Our clients trust us to find ways to make their energy supply safe, efficient, and economical.
We don’t make empty promises or deliver half measures – only clear, functioning technology. If we say something will work, the solution is usually already on the table before the order is even placed.

Sustainability & Responsibility

We are committed to resource-efficient production throughout our entire supply chain. The most environmentally friendly energy is the one that doesn’t get used at all. Saving energy, conserving resources, and avoiding emissions are key principles of sustainability across our company. Our engineering makes the difference – we are always searching for climate-friendly alternatives in production and manufacturing, such as the GRIDNOVA station, a true pioneer in sustainable design. More than two-thirds of the station is constructed from wood, which naturally binds harmful CO2 over the long term. Learn more about this in our Success Projects section
